  1. Remain Calm - This can be difficult, but try to remain calm and pay attention the the specific details surrounding your pet's situation.
  2. Assess the Full Problem - Take a look at your pet to see if there are any visible signs of injury. If your pet is externally bleeding or broke a bone, quickly assess and call your vet. If your pet is vomiting or acting strange, you may want to make note of any strange behaviors.
  3. Do What You Can - There is a lot your can do before arriving at the vet depending on the urgency of the situation.
