Meet Our Team
Dr. Carl A. Guill
Dr. Carl A. Guill is originally from Sparta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. May of 2000 Dr. Bennett asked him to join San Juan Animal Hospital as a resident surgeon. Dr Guill and his wife, Judy, live in MacClenny and enjoy family, friends, church, yard work, sports, hunting, and fishing. They also have a Jack Russell Terrier named Scout.
Gregory L Bennett D.V.M. graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science. He was then accepted into Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine from which he graduated with honors. His love for small animals led him to the San Juan Animal Hospital in July of 1997. Dr. Bennett married his high school sweetheart, Barbara. They have two children, two dogs and one cat. The Bennett's enjoy fishing, water and snow skiing, their church and good fellowship with their friends.
Dr. Rena Fulton received her Bachelor’s of Science with an emphasis in Animal Biology from the University of Florida in 2005. Dr. Fulton then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2010 from the University of Florida. She is also certified in small animal acupuncture and received her certification in December of 2010 from the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. Dr. Fulton currently lives in the Julington Creek area with her husband, son, two daughters, and two dogs Finley and Olive.
A lifelong love of animals brought Dr. H. Thomas Vinyard to San Juan Animal Hospital, first as a technician while he completed his studies at Episcopal High School and Hampden-Sydney College, and again as an extern as he earned his DVM from the University of Florida. Finally, Dr. Vinyard has made his way back home. Thomas lives nearby in the Riverside area and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Stacey, and their 3 dogs: Cecilia, Zetterberg, and Pops.
Sara's veterinary career began in 1990 while in college, studying to get into vet school. The more she learned as a veterinary technician, the more she realized that it was the relationships with patients and their owners she loved, more so than the science. Changing her focus to business, HR, & hospitality, Sara chose management over medicine, though she still likes to spend as much time with patients as possible.
